The Italian Air Force Frecce Tricolori are visiting the USA for the first time in over 30 years. Their performance will commemorate the 500th anniversary of Giovanni da Verrazzano's expedition to America in 1524. Also known as the "Tricolour Arrows" in English, are officially designated as the 313° Gruppo Addestramento Acrobatico, Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale. The Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team comprises of ten aircraft, holding the distinction of being the world's largest acrobatic patrol. Their 30-minute display will showcase their awe-inspiring skills, bringing a touch of Italian flair to the skies over New York....

Kirby Chambliss is a five-time winner of the US National Aerobatic Championship and a former Men’s Freestyle World Champion. He’s also fast, world-class fast, in fact he is one of only two American pilots ever to win the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. Kirby and his Red Bull Edge 540 must sustain a radical span of 18 Gs, so he follows a rigorous exercise regimen of skydiving and motocross to stay in shape. And with a runway at his Arizona home, he can train on his doorstep...

The C-17 Globemaster III is the newest, most flexible cargo aircraft to enter the airlift force. The C-17 can take off and land on runways as short as 3,500 feet and only 90 feet wide. Even on such narrow runways, the massive 500,000 pound jet can turn around using a three-point star turn and its backing capability.  During a C-17 full capabilities demonstration its agility and ability to maneuver defies imagination and its ability to stop in less than 2,500 feet during a combat landing simulation is equally as impressive....

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American World War II era ground attack fighter that first flew in 1938. The Warhawk was used by most Allied powers during World War II, and remained in frontline service until the end of the war.  The P-40 served as an air superiority fighter, bomber escort and fighter-bomber in all of these and performed surprisingly well as an air superiority fighter inflicting a very heavy toll on enemy aircraft. Based on war-time victory claims, over 200 Allied fighter pilots from 7 different nations became aces flying the P-40, with at least 20 double aces....

The F-16 is the "Sports Car" of the U.S. military fighter jet community. A single engine, single pilot jet, it's sleek, highly maneuverable and fast. The F-16 Viper Demo Team shows off the full capabilities of the jet including high speed maneuvers at over 600 mph and G wrenching turns where the pilot will feel over 9 times the weight of his own body.
