    • Brian says:

I think you are thinking of the Blue Angel’s Fat Albert JATO demonstration, unfortunately they no longer do that because they don’t have any more JATO rockets!

    • Rogo says:

C-17’s don’t use rockets. You’re thinking C-130’s and JATO’s and they are awesome to see!!!! Saw it when I worked in Antartica.

  1. MIchael Hubert says:

Where can I pre-pay for parking. There is one link on this site but it is not working. Should I check back as we get closer to the show?

    • NY Air Show says:

Hey Michael – yes! Parking will be available for purchase starting around mid-August. Stay tuned, we will do a posting on our Facebook page as a reminder to everyone as well.

    • NY Air Show says:

Motorcycle parking will be in the same lots as general parking. There will be shuttles that take people from the general parking over to the gate of the show. Parking is first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving early.

    • NY Air Show says:

Hey Stephen, stay tuned! We’ll be announcing further performers as we move closer to the date of the show, but it promises to be a phenomenal line-up!

      • Robert LaBoy says:

I have a 10+ group, note stated if more than 10 to call. Tonight Early bird special ends tonight. My confirmations won’t be complete until earliest COB Wednesday. Is VIP still available? If so what number and person should I talk to complete transactions if available.
        Thank you in afvance,
        Robert LaBoy, USAF (Ret) 215 275 3573

        • NY Air Show says:

Hi Robert, you can call our partners at Complete Ticketing Solutions at 877-766-8158 to do group ticket purchasing. Our Advance Tickets are currently 30%, so you still have plenty of time to get a GREAT price for the 2018 show. We look forward to having you there!

      • Alvin Cheung says:

Please have either F22 or F35 performing in the show, if they both do it will be simply PERFECT!!!

  2. Norm G. says:

are the Thunderbirds still coming…? I heard they cancelled all their shows due to the recent loss of TB #4.

    • NY Air Show says:

Hi Norm, YES, the Thunderbird are a go for the NY Show. They just jumped back into their show schedule this past week. We are looking forward to having them in our upcoming show, while also honoring and recognizing the loss of their colleague.

  3. Anthony says:

You’re going to lose revenue if there’s no F-35…but an F-22 would make the show a cash cow 🙂

How about F-16’s per the norm?…also a detail to TBD 30 days prior?

    • NY Air Show says:

Thanks for your feedback, Anthony! We have a really great line up of static displays that are enjoyed by all guests, but as you can imagine, they are subject to the availability of the plane and its crew. That’s why we typically email and post that list to our ticket holders within the 30 days prior to the show, as the final list is confirmed.

    • NY Air Show says:

We’ve got the performers announced-to-date are above. The schedule will be released once the entire line up is complete, about 2 weeks prior to the show.

  4. Rob says:

I find it hilarious that every year you guys do a good job of posting what is prohibited and what is allowable to bring to the shows. And every year people ask the stupidest questions that are clearly answered on your website. Read first, ask questions later…….. Keep up the good job guys.

    • NY Air Show says:

We appreciate your support! <3 <3 <3 But we also don't mind at all making sure that we answer the questions of each and every guest that attends our show. We're always happy to ensure every guest feels answered so they can enjoy the great line-up of performers! 🙂

    • NY Air Show says:

Guests are allowed to bring in a container of water up to 1 liter per guest. We cannot guarantee access to water fountains, but there will be many vendors with water available for purchase.
