Kirby Chambliss is a five-time winner of the US National Aerobatic Championship and a former Men’s Freestyle World Champion. He’s also fast, world-class fast, in fact he is one of only two American pilots ever to win the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. Kirby and his Red Bull Edge 540 must sustain a radical span of 18 Gs, so he follows a rigorous exercise regimen of skydiving and motocross to stay in shape. And with a runway at his Arizona home, he can train on his doorstep...

The C-17 Globemaster III is the newest, most flexible cargo aircraft to enter the airlift force. The C-17 can take off and land on runways as short as 3,500 feet and only 90 feet wide. Even on such narrow runways, the massive 500,000 pound jet can turn around using a three-point star turn and its backing capability.  During a C-17 full capabilities demonstration its agility and ability to maneuver defies imagination and its ability to stop in less than 2,500 feet during a combat landing simulation is equally as impressive....

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American World War II era ground attack fighter that first flew in 1938. The Warhawk was used by most Allied powers during World War II, and remained in frontline service until the end of the war.  The P-40 served as an air superiority fighter, bomber escort and fighter-bomber in all of these and performed surprisingly well as an air superiority fighter inflicting a very heavy toll on enemy aircraft. Based on war-time victory claims, over 200 Allied fighter pilots from 7 different nations became aces flying the P-40, with at least 20 double aces....

The Red Bull Air Force is a team assembled from the most accomplished and experienced aviation experts on the planet. They specialize in highly coordinated aerial jump demonstrations and continually push the limits of human flight continually rethinking what is possible, and envision a world where all people live with boldness. They believe humans can fly and relentlessly pursue that which is thought impossible, then go and do it....

Michael Goulian is one of the top aerobatic pilots in the world.  He began his career in the competitive world of aerobatics, earning the distinction of becoming one of the youngest pilots to ever win the United States Unlimited Aerobatic Championship at the age of 27.  In 2006 he joined an elite group of pilots competing as Team #99 in the Red Bull Air Races.  Mike's air show performance combines the heart-stopping gyroscopic tumbling of modern display flying with the crisp, aggressive, demands of precision competition aerobatics....

While most aerobatic performers have one basic program, Kent Pietsch performs three different acts that leave spectators mesmerized. The most dramatic is a performance where he begins by turning the engine off at 6,000 feet in altitude then ends with a rooftop landing on a moving truck! The most well known is Kent's comedy act where he detaches a wing flap during flight and makes a mesmerizing wingtip-scraping pass down the runway that you must see to believe. When Kent is at the controls of his plane, it is impossible not to watch him perform....

Scott "Scooter" Yoak will put on a dazzling aerobatic display  in this amazingly restored P-51D Mustang. This P-51 is a celebration of our nation’s armed forces. Every aspect of the paint represents those who have served, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The black cape covering the front of the aircraft represents the veil of protection that our armed forces give us. That veil is one of the reasons why we have what we have today, freedom. As the cape extends to the back of the canopy, it spreads out and divides into feathers, symbolizing the eagle that has flown with every aviator since the birth of aviation in 1903. The black paint has tiny sparkling stars in it, each sparkle represents an...

The UH-72A Lakota is a light utility helicopter used for search and rescue operations, reconnaissance and surveillance, and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) missions. It is only used in non-combat, non-hostile environments. It has seating for two pilots and up to six passengers. Two Turbomeca Arriel 1E2 engines, combined with an advanced four-blade rotor system, provide lift and speed in a wide range of operating conditions. The Lakota is equipped with modern communication and navigation avionics. It includes a 3-axis autopilot and single pilot IFR capability. The cockpit is compatible with night vision devices....

The Czechoslovakian L-39 first flew November 4, 1968.  Thousands remain in active service as trainers, and many are finding new homes with private warbird owners all over the world. This is particularly evident in the United States, where their $200,000–$300,000 price puts them in range of moderately wealthy pilots looking for a fast, agile personal jet....
