this will be our first visit to the show and we are staying at the four points at the airport.
I am assuming we can park at the hotel and walk to the grounds? do I need to bring a
    folding chair? thx

    • NY Air Show says:

We’d recommend checking with your hotel if they will have a shuttle bus running – you may not be able to walk depending on the restrictions in place at the airport. For preferred seating guests, you will be provided a chair. General admission guests do need to bring their own chairs.

  2. Irina says:

Do holders of ‘preferred seating’ tickets get general parking spots or some special parking dedicated to preferred seats?

    • NY Air Show says:

Hey Rob, there is currently a 25% discount on all tickets across the board. Yes, all attendees do need their own ticket. Thanks so much!

  3. Laut says:

Is there preferred parking as in years past? If so, what is the price and where do I find it on the web site ticket purchase page?

  4. Irina says:

I was under impression that a preferred ticket would include ‘preferred parking’ (somewhere closer to the viewing area, with less time in line, etc.), not just general parking, was I mistaken? I see “PARK 1” on my parking ticket (which I got with preferred seating). What does Park 1 mean?

    • NY Air Show says:

Yes, your preferred seating ticket includes parking – you will be emailed your parking pass within the next couple weeks.

      • Irina says:

Yes, I have gotten the parking ticket. It says “Park 1”. My questions were: (1) is it just a general parking spot or is there a parking dedicated to preferred seats (that is either easier accessible then general parking or will take less time in line to get parked, etc) and (2) what does “Park 1 ” mean (is it a special parking lot)?

    • NY Air Show says:

Hi Toni, our food & beverage concessionaire makes every effort to ensure menu item options are suitable for all guests. Please see our FAQ section for more information.

  5. JOHN GORSAGE says:

I am a handicapped guy in that I use a cane and walk slowly even when I need to go. Before I can select my Preferred Seating seats, I would like to know which section from 101 to 110 is best for me to choose? Thanks much, enjoy the show!

    • NY Air Show says:

Hey John, you might want to try 105 or 106. It’s got the best view of show center and should have reasonable access. If you need help getting to your seat, please also look for any of the great people in volunteer shirts. They’d be happy to assist.

    • NY Air Show says:

Hey Brett, we have designated food vendors available in the preferred seating area with food and drinks for purchase. Each guest is allowed one 1-liter bottle of water, but no coolers with outside food and drink are allowed in the show. The great thing about the preferred seating is that the numbers are limited, so you’ll have little-to-no wait in the food lines!
