  1. Steve Tamberino says:

    Hi Guys!

I just wanted to see if there will be any WW2 aircraft at the show this year? Perhaps a B-17? B-29? P-51’s?

    • NY Air Show says:

Stay tuned – we always have a great line-up of historic aircrafts, which will be announced as we grow closer to the show!

  2. Rich B says:

was in photo pit for 2017 show, behind photo pit and across access road (perimeter Road) was a hill, it was not in the area of the venu. If you pay for VIP parking it it an issue with photograph from this hill? security concern? I did see a few people on it.

  3. Pete says:

I took quite a few awesome photos this past Sunday. Glad the weather was so nice
The blue sky / white clouds make a great back drop …

Would you like to see a few of the better ones ?

    • NY Air Show says:

No sir. That’s how much parking costs at the show. If you purchased in advance, online, it would have been $15.

  4. Andrew Tornone says:

I have VIP ticket. will I need to buy a parking pass as well? I thought Parking was included in VIP tickets. Also MY parents are going and they have general admission tickets. I hope they will be able to go through the VIP gates since I am driving. No reason to take 2 cars.

    • NY Air Show says:

VIP entrance and the General Admission entrance are on complete opposite ends of the show. They will need to park in the General Parking lot.

  5. Dani says:

Is there any accommodation for handicap/elderly folks, in order to shorten the walking distance into the Air Show?

    • NY Air Show says:

The will be shuttle buses from the Parking area to the entrance. Please be prepared to get around independently when you enter.

  6. Denise Mcsherry says:

We have previously bought our tickets when it was scheduled for September 17. Do we need to change our tickets or will these ones be valid?

    • NY Air Show says:

Yes. You should have received an email about that several months ago, but it probably ended up in your junk folder. Give our box office a call at 877.877.7677 and they will get you squared away.

    • NY Air Show says:

You should have received them via email immediately after you purchased them, but it probably ended up in your junk folder. Give our box office a call at 877.877.7677 and they will get you squared away.

  7. Tom Brown says:

Question: Am retired Military, have 38ft motorhome.

Is “dry camping” parking available for volunteers signing up for multiple days of work at the show?

  8. Robin says:

I have purchased tickets to July 2nd and have not received them yet? Also have not received any e-mails regarding parking passes and I need two handicap parking passes, how can I get these?

    • NY Air Show says:

We do not have any ticket orders under your email address. Please feel free to call the box office at 877.877.7677.

  9. Dan says:

I see you just released pre paid parking to current ticket holders. Is this for preferred parking as well or general parking out in the field as last year?

  10. Melissa says:

Does it still go on if it’s raining? If I buy a VIP flight club ticket, and the event is cancelled, do I get a refund?

  11. Ralph D. says:

I want to use a rolling cart to make it easier to “carry” my camera equipment. Is this acceptable?

  12. Sherry Debenham says:

I’ve never attended a two day air show. Will the Blue Angels and F35 be flying both days? We can only afford to attend one day and I want my kids to see the Blue Angels. How does the schedule vary between Saturday and Sunday?

    • NY Air Show says:

All performers are scheduled to fly on both days. The only thing that may be different is the sequence they fly each day.

  13. Debbie says:

I see that the gates open at 9. What time does the show start and approximately how long is the show? This would be my first show and my mom has handicapped parking. I see questions about buses, and parking passes. How exactly does it work? Thanks!

  14. Jpujol says:

USAF ACC combined schedule has the F-16 as “waiting approval”, so F-16 will probably be at Stewart. That would be great to have the F-35 and F-16 as originally planned.

    • NY Air Show says:

Outside food and beverage is not allowed into the event. However, each spectator is allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water up to 1 liter in size.

  15. jpujol says:

Just saw email that F-35 was able to switch the dates and is coming for the July dates. EXCELLENT!! Now lets try to get the F-16 Demo to do the same. F-35 and F-16 were originally scheduled for the Sept dates. One down, one to go.

  16. Donna says:

I ordered tickets for the 2017 Air Show but did not see anything about purchasing parking passes. Can you tell me when they will be able to be purchased?

    • NY Air Show says:

They will be available at a later date via email to our current ticket holders before they are on sale to the general public.

  17. Joanna Hovling/Ice Bros Frozen Treats says:

Who is your concessionaire as I would like to be a vendor at the air show. Is it Seivers again this year as I am a local vendor and was a part of the show last year.

    Ice Bros Frozen Treats

  18. Christine says:

I purchased tickets for the July 1st 2017 show. I did not see a place to purchase a parking pass. Is parking free this year?

  19. Mina Zanzarella says:

Hello! Last year I attended this event for the first time. My hubby is an Air Force vet so he’s been to them lots of times. Anyway, it was great and I want to go every year.
We purchased a package deal. Four tickets to get in and four meal tickets for one great price. Are you doing those again?
    Thanks for the fun.

    • NY Air Show says:

As of now, the family 4 pack is not available in 2017. If it becomes available, we will email all of our fans.

    • NY Air Show says:

Outside food is not permitted. Each customer is allowed to bring one sealed bottle of water up to one liter in size. Folding chairs are permitted.

  20. Al Boltze says:

Recently I bought two tickets for the 2017 air show but I neglected to purchase a parking ticket, please advise How I can remedy this oversight.

  21. Teri Walker says:

Enjoyed the air show immensely this year. It was much better organized than in 2015. Parking on the airport grounds was a better idea, although I think the bus stops should be more clearly indicated. Really loved the idea of a children’s area, as it makes for a better family event. Would like a few more static displays, but what was there was adequate.

  22. Roger says:

The show was fantastic! The event was very well organized with plenty of concessions, facilities and security. I have been to many airshows over my life time and this was one of the best! A big thank you to the team and all the volunteers that made this happen! We look forward to next year!
